Winter Access
The Arctic Duchess is accessed by a maintained ice road. Just minutes from down town Yellowknife. Enter onto ice at the OLD TOWN PUBLIC BOAT LAUNCH(Google this location) across from Bullocks & Weaver and Devore. FOLLOW ROAD SIGNS TO DUCHESS, our location is a 1 minute drive from the boat launch. Our Signs are large and have big red arrows with our logo.
Summer Access
Our location is directly across from the Yvonne quick heritage wharf in old town. If using your own water craft you can use the multiple loading and off loading sites in old town to get on the water and access our barge. If booking a shuttle we will pick you up at the OLD TOWN PUBLIC BOAT LAUNCH in old town located at the intersection of Macdonald drive and Wiley road. Pick ups happen 5-10minutes before start time.
